Every student must obey to the following rules and discipline of the college.

  • Students will Not use cell-phones in Class-rooms, Library or College corridors and Will Not keet it 'on' within Examination Hall.
  • Students have to ensure 75% attendance in each subject. It attendance falls below 60%, that student may not be 'Allowed' to sit for Final Examination.
  • Students should Bring Identity Cards along with them everyday.
  • They must not make absence in any Test and reach the examination hall at least 5 minutes before examination time. Students who will reach Examination Hall after 15 minutes or more from commencement of exam, will not be allowed to enter the Hall.
  • Students must Secure the suggested text-books immediately as classes start, without making delay. Just coming to and going back from college whithout having specific books, will be a sheer futile act on their part.
  • They are required to maintain strict Silence in the Library and obey the rules regarding use of library books.
  • Students should regularly See the Notice Board for any important notice before leaving the college.
  • Students must Not Assemble or Loiter in front of class-room or staff-room during College hours.
  • Any kind of Misbehaviour with Teachers or Employees or Fellow Student will Not be excused.
Following actions of students will be considered as offences against college discipline :

  • talking in Class When Lectures are Being Deliverd
  • Impersonation at Roll call
  • Loitering in The Corridors
  • Sitting on Staicase
  • Keeping any book/written paper with herself during examination
  • Breach of rules regarding use of common room
  • Noisy conduct inside college premises or near the college gate
  • Damaging or defacing college property
  • Sticking posters on college walls
  • Leaving college premises during off periods without permission of the Principal.

Serious notice will be taken of any breach of discipline and gross misconduct may be punished by immediate expulsion.

Statutory warning under the West Bengal Prohibition of Ragging in Education Institutions Act. 2000

  • Ragging within our educational Institution is hereby prohibited
  • No person shall participate in, abet, or propagate, ragging in any Educational Institute.
  • Ragging means the doing of any act which causes, or is likely to cause, any physical, psychological or physiological harm or apprehension or shame or embarrasment to a student and includes—
  • teasing or abusing or playing practical Joke or causing hurt to any student,
  • using any student to do any act, or perform any thing, which he would not, in the ordinary course, be willing to do or perform
